Douglas Elliman Realty announced today that Dallas real estate icon Doris Jacobs and her daughters, Teffy Jacobs and Kim Jacobs Calloway, have joined the firm. The group will be based in the brokerage’s Dallas office.
Widely known as the “Queen of Beverly Drive,” Jacobs has sold over 58 homes on the famed thoroughfare—more than any other real estate agent. With her career spanning more than four decades, Jacobs and her daughters have surpassed one billion dollars in sales. The Doris Jacobs Group specializes in Dallas’s most prestigious neighborhoods, including Highland Park, University Park, Preston Hollow, Bluffview, Lakewood, Turtle Creek and more.
“As we continue to strategically expand in Dallas, The Doris Jacobs Group will truly elevate our presence in this key market,” said Scott Durkin, CEO of Douglas Elliman Realty. “Doris’s stellar reputation precedes her, and her decades of experience in the luxury real estate sector will be invaluable to our growth in Texas.”
“Doris is one of the leading names in Dallas real estate, and we are honored to welcome her to the Elliman family,” said Stephen Kotler, CEO of Douglas Elliman Realty’s Western Region.
“The Jacobs family is a force in the industry, and we are looking forward to watching their legacy continue to grow as part of Douglas Elliman,” said Jacob Sudhoff, CEO of Douglas Elliman Texas.
The Doris Jacobs Group is known for its encyclopedic knowledge of the Dallas market, extensive client base, record sales, repeat and referral business and eye for architecture and design. Jacobs’s impressive track record includes listing and selling some of the most exclusive addresses in Dallas—many being the most expensive properties sold at the time. She is also known for selling homes that have never been placed on the market.
“We are thrilled to partner with this powerhouse firm, who will empower our team to new heights and add tremendous value to our business. We were captivated by Elliman’s extensive global reach, first-class resources in marketing and technology, incredible public relations prowess and international partnership with Knight Frank,” said Doris Jacobs, CEO of The Doris Jacobs Group. “Teffy, Kim and I are looking forward to working with the network of dedicated Elliman agents across the country—especially in California, Colorado, and New York, where there are strong synergies with Texas. We are completely committed to our clients, whether in Dallas or around the globe, and are excited to join this cutting-edge brokerage and be part of their expansion across Dallas.”
Jacobs has consistently been a Top Producer, with a long list of honors and accolades, including “D Best Residential Real Estate Agents in Dallas” and a top “Power Broker” by D Magazine; a “Who’s Who in Dallas Residential Real Estate” by D Home; a Texas real estate “Super Agent” by Texas Monthly; one of the “Top 15 Leading North Texas Residential Real Estate Agents” in Dallas Business Journal’s The List; and a Top Real Estate Industry Leader in Modern Luxury Dallas’ “Dallas Real Estate Awards”.
A longtime Park Cities resident, Doris is passionate about giving back to her community and is involved in a variety of local charities and organizations, including the Cattle Baron’s Ball, Turtle Creek Park Conservancy, Dallas Symphony Orchestra League, Nasher Sculpture Center, Dallas Arboretum, Dallas Museum of Art, Dallas Opera, Genesis Women’s Shelter, KidneyTexas, Park Cities Historic and Preservation Society, Preservation Dallas, the Salvation Army and more. Additionally, she enjoys spending time with her family and attends Highland Park Presbyterian Church.
