Man allegedly shot into upstairs neighbor’s apartment with kids inside, records show

A male was arrested following allegedly capturing into his upstairs neighbors’ condominium.

The incident occurred June 19, when a woman referred to as Memphis Police officers to an apartment in the 1500 block of Canterbury Lane.

She instructed law enforcement she heard gunshots and that many bullets went by way of the ground of her condominium, in accordance to an affidavit.

Her partner and two toddlers ended up inside the apartment at the time.

No one particular was wounded.

Police identified the bullets came from another condominium.

Officers detained a guy discovered as Steven M. Hargis in that condominium, as properly as his 2-yr-outdated baby, information show.

The toddler’s mom then arrived at the scene. The apartment is below her title, police reported.

She instructed law enforcement Hargis was babysitting even though she was at function.
