Florida radio personality’s children were in the apartment when she was found ‘unresponsive’: report

The young children of a slain Florida radio individuality have been reportedly at the home when her unresponsive overall body was discovered by her mom, according to an arrest warrant. 

Tasheka Young, a former broadcaster for Jacksonville’s Ability 106.1 Tru Hip Hop station, was killed at the Mission Pointe residences in Jacksonville on Saturday.

In accordance to an arrest warrant received by WTLV, Young’s mom, Olivia Young, uncovered her “unresponsive” and bloody when her two young children — ages 1 and 3 — were being at the residence in the 12400 block of Biscayne Boulevard.

Young explained to law enforcement she speaks to her daughter each day and turned involved when she didn’t listen to from her. According to the arrest warrant, Young alleged that her daughter experienced a violent relationship with the children’s father, who experienced a short while ago held a gun to her head.

On Sunday, Jacksonville Sheriff’s deputies arrested 33-yr-aged Bursey Armstrong and charged him with next-degree murder.

Armstrong continues to be in custody at the Jacksonville County Sheriff’s Place of work and is not eligible for bond. His upcoming court docket day is set for Aug. 16.
