Las Vegas police have arrested a guy on suspicion of murder in a Monday stabbing that police say stemmed from a dispute about lease and home costs at a northern Las Vegas Valley property.
Rodney Faulk II, 29, of Las Vegas, was arrested in the 9:05 a.m. stabbing at a dwelling in the 3500 block of Full Sail Travel, near Las Vegas Boulevard North and Cheyenne Avenue.
The Clark County coroner’s business office Tuesday identified the sufferer as Devaughn Senegal Jr., 21. He died of sharp force injuries of the again and neck, and his death was ruled a murder.
Police said a woman who lives on Comprehensive Sail Drive emerged from her dwelling Monday and uncovered Senegal in the road struggling from stab wounds. He died at the scene. Law enforcement said they later on discovered Faulk strolling in the place nearby and took him into custody.
When detectives interviewed Faulk, they discovered he lived in one more home on Total Sail in close proximity to wherever Senegal was stabbed. Faulk informed law enforcement that he and Senegal were quarrelling about rent and funds for bills in the residence rented by an acquaintance of Senegal. Faulk stated Senegal threatened to beat him up, and that this is when the stabbing unfolded, in accordance to law enforcement.
On the internet data suggest that Faulk is scheduled for a Wednesday afternoon physical appearance in North Las Vegas Justice Court.
