Construction beam falls on car, killing Las Vegas detective

LAS VEGAS (KVVU/Grey Information) – Authorities say a driver died right after a construction beam fell, hitting the victim’s automobile.

Nevada Point out Law enforcement advised KVVU that a tractor-trailer driver carrying a large piece of development products was likely southbound on U.S. 95 when it hit a metallic beam as the motor vehicle was traveling below an overpass.

The metal beam then landed on a silver sedan that was following driving the tractor-trailer.
