Kris Connor/GettyOn Monday, a bombshell lawsuit brought by two women against the popular EDM artist Bassnectar alleges that he sexually abused them when they were underage, solicited nude photos of them as minors, and sex-trafficked them.The allegations are brought by Rachel Ramsbottom and Alexis Bowling, who claim the producer-DJ, real name Lorin Ashton, was well aware that they were under the age of 18 when they began messaging over Twitter in 2012 and 2014, respectively.Their complaint, filed in Tennessee, paints a disturbing picture of the musician who allegedly “groomed and ultimately exploited” the young fans, acting as a mentor or father-like figure to them, dictating what they could do, having them send naked photos of themselves, and handing them wads of cash—up to $1,600—after the alleged encounters.“It was abundantly clear that Bassnectar was targeting and
SPRINGFIELD, S.C. (WIS) – Authorities launched a search for a man who’s accused of firing at a police officer in Orangeburg County, according to the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division.
According to initial reports, the suspect was in a car chase with law enforcement when they got out of the car and then later shot at local law enforcement.
SLED spokesman Tommy Crosby said the agency assisted Springfield police with Monday’s search and is investigating the incident.
According to witnesses, the suspect fired four or five shots at law enforcement while running away.

A police officer involved in the fatal shooting of black woman Breonna Taylor has sued her boyfriend for emotional distress, assault and battery.
Jonathan Mattingly was one of three officers who took part in a raid on Ms Taylor’s home in Kentucky in March.
Boyfriend Kenneth Walker said he feared they were intruders and allegedly fired a shot injuring Mr Mattingly. Returning fire, the police killed Ms Taylor.
Mr Walker’s lawyer condemned the civil lawsuit as “baseless”.
Ms Taylor’s death has been one of a number of incidents that have spurred protests in the US and around the world by the Black Lives Matter movement, amid wider calls for police reform.
The incident took place in March during a night-time drugs raid by police on an apartment in Louisville, Kentucky where Ms Taylor was staying with Mr Walker.
